HECKLER & KOCH MP5 SUBMACHINE GUNS
The HECKLER & KOCH MP5 Submachine Guns work according to the same proven principle of the delayed roller locked bolt as it is also found on the famous G3 Assault Rifle. All HK features, such as reliability, ease of handling, simple maintenance and a high level of safety can be found on the HK MP5 Submachine guns. Firing from a closed bolt makes the MP5 extremely accurate and controllable during firing.
The MP5 is used by law enforcement and military units in more than 50 countries. It is considered the world’s pre-eminent submachine gun. Over 120 MP5 variants are meanwhile available to address the widest range of tactical requirements. The modular design of the weapons allows the users to make a choice among a wide range of trigger groups, buttstocks and other accessories. This gives the MP5 extraordinary flexibility to meet most any mission requirement.

SYSTEM CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MP5A VARIANTS:
- Principle of operation: Recoil operated weapon with delayed blowback bolt
- Firing pin ignition
- Upon cessation of fire, the bolt is closed
- The weapon fires ammunition cal. 9 mm x 19 in Single, Bursts (2/3 rounds) and automatic fire
- Cartridge cases are ejected to the right
- Magazine capacity: 15/30 Cartridges
- Sights: Rotary aperture sight, Adjustable for windage and elevation
- The fixed buttstock may be replaced by a retractable buttstock or a receiver end cap
- Telescopic sight supports for telescopic sights or other aiming units with STANAG support
